We handle your personal data carefully when you visit our website or place an order. In this privacy and cookie statement you can read which personal data Coloursuits processes about you, why we do this, how we protect your data and what your rights are.

  1. About Coloursuits

Coloursuits is responsible for the data processing of our (potential) customers, website visitors and users. We are located at La Bohèmeplantsoen 26, 2152 GG, Nieuw Vennep, The Netherlands. Our Chamber of Commerce number is 72408243 . Do you have a question about this privacy and cookie statement or the use of your data by Coloursuits? Fill in the contact form or send an e-mail to info@coloursuits.nl .

  1. How do we get your personal data?

Usually you provide us with your personal data. It also happens that we receive your data from someone else. For example because you received a gift card as a present.

  1. For what purposes do we collect your personal data?
  • Execution of your order
  • Coloursuits collects your data for entering into and executing agreements. When you place an order on the website, we process data such as your name and address details, e-mail, telephone number, invoice and delivery data and financial data in order to be able to execute and process the order. We use payment providers to process your order. We will forward your contact details to the delivery service so that your order can be delivered. Do you want to exchange or return an order? Then of course we need your information to make this right.

  • create an account
  • To make it easier for you to order, you can create an account on the website. With an account you do not have to enter all your details again and again during checkout, and you can easily find your orders. To create an account, you must provide a number of personal data. You can easily change or delete your data in your account.

  • Newsletter
  • You can subscribe to our newsletter. We will only send our newsletter to you when you have given permission to receive it or when you are an existing customer of ours (unless you have indicated that you do not wish to receive the newsletter). Every newsletter also contains an unsubscribe link, so that you can easily unsubscribe if you no longer wish to receive our newsletter.

  • Handling complaints
  • If you contact Coloursuits because you have a question, request or complaint about Coloursuits, we will save your message and contact details so that we are able to respond to your message. We process this data under the legal basis agreement when the question, request or complaint relates to our services. In all other situations, we process the data on the basis of our legitimate interest in being able to respond to your message.

  • Analyzing the website and retargeting
  • We place cookies to make the website function properly and to analyze the use of the website. We also use cookies for marketing purposes, for example to collect information about you so that relevant advertisements can be shown to you (“retargeting”). We process this data with your permission. You can always object to this form of profiling. You can read more about this under the heading “Cookies”.

  • Contact Form
  • You can ask a question or contact us via the contact form. We process your name, e-mail address, telephone number and any personal data included in the message, so that we are able to respond to your question or request.

  • Comply with legal obligations
  • We may have to process your personal data because the law requires this from us.

    1. Websites of third parties and social media buttons

Our website contains social media buttons from Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and possibly other links to third-party websites. If you click on a social media button, cookies can be placed. The privacy regulations of the specific platform apply to this link and not this privacy and cookie statement. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that these third parties will handle your data in a safe manner. We therefore recommend that you read the privacy statements of these third parties before clicking on a button or link. You can read here how these platforms handle your privacy:

    1. How long do we keep your data?

Coloursuits does not store your data longer than is necessary for the purposes stated in this privacy and cookie statement. We also determine the required retention period on the basis of laws and regulations and any claim risks. We have established the following retention periods:

    • Have you placed an order on our website? Then we keep invoice data until the order is completed and seven years after that (we are required by law).
    • Have you filled in the contact form on the website? Then we will keep your data until you are completely satisfied with an answer to your question or request.
    • Each cookie that our website places has its own expiry period. You can read more about this later in this statement.

    1. How do we protect your data?

We naturally want to prevent your data from falling into the wrong hands. That is why we have taken appropriate security measures to prevent misuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data, such as a secure connection through Transport Layer Security.

You should be aware that you are responsible for the security of your equipment and your own internet connection, and that they are never 100% secure. The transmission of personal data via the internet is therefore at your own risk.

    1. Do we share your data with third parties?

Coloursuits shares your data with a number of parties when this is permitted by law. We provide data to third parties when this is necessary for the execution of our agreement, you have given your consent for this, we have a legitimate interest or the law requires us to do so.

Your data can be passed on to the following (categories of) recipients:

    • Hosting the website
    • Mail servers
    • Delivery services
    • Our suppliers
    • Payment providers and partners
    • Web store software
    • Cookie suppliers
    • MailChimp
    • IT suppliers and service providers

It is possible that your personal data will be transferred or stored outside Europe. We only do this if there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of your personal data. A model agreement, for example.

Update on invalidating the EU-US Privacy Shield: we are familiar with the judgment of the European Court of Justice (Schrems-II). Coloursuits uses some non-European service providers, and is currently looking at the implications of the ruling in this regard. In addition, we will of course keep a close eye on the reporting on this. Do you have a question about this? Please do not hesitate to contact us by using the contact details under the heading “About Colorsuits”.

    1. What are your rights?

If you want to exercise your rights, you can send an email to info@coloursuits.nl or contact us in writing. You can also fill in the contact form on the website. We can check your identity to prevent unauthorized access to your data.

You can also view, adjust and delete your personal data in your account.

    1. Revoke consent

Have you given us permission to process your personal data? Then you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. From that moment on, we no longer process your personal data, unless we have another basis. Do you want to withdraw your consent for cookies that we have placed? Then read further in this statement how you can delete cookies.
